Architect Henk Stadens (1969) worked with De Zwarte Hond, an architecture firm with offices in Groningen, Rotterdam and Cologne since 1996. He started his professional career at Koen van Velsen. While studying at the Technical University Delft, from which he graduated with honors, he was an active member of the 'Architectural Restoration' department. Henk has been a partner at De Zwarte Hond since 2014 and heads the office in Cologne. Henk also teaches at the Academie van Bouwkunst, in Groningen, enabling an inspiring exchange between practical and academic context. With his team at De Zwarte Hond, he designs projects that vary from large-scale Design-Build-Finance-Maintenance-Operate-processes to private mansions. His work demonstrates not only great craftmanship, but also a deep engagement with the users of designs, what drives them and what they expect from their environment.

Dr Andreas Blühm was born in Berlin in 1959, and grew up in Bremen.
Andreas Blühm studied art history, history and archaeology and gained his PhD with honours from the Freie Universität Berlin. After working as Head of Presentations at the Van Gogh Museum and Director of the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum in Cologne, he was appointed as General Director of the Groninger Museum in 2012. Blühm also lectured at the universities of Hamburg, Regensburg, Cologne and Hagen. Since September 29, 2015 Andreas Blühm has been appointed professor by special appointment in Art History, Museums and Society by the University of Groningen.
